A Fantastic Combo of Power and Portability!
In most of the articles I’ve written here, I advise you to get a pressure washer that meets your needs instead of wasting money on the most powerful model, only to use a fraction of what’s available to you.
Sometimes you need something smaller and more practical, which is great if you can choose between power and convenience. But what if you can’t? What if you need power and practicality, plus some useful features to boot?
If you are interested in knowing more about the electric powered Karcher K 3.000 Follow Me, keep reading.
Basic Information, Specs and Features
First of all, this unit delivers 1800 PSI which exceeds the demands of most residential cleaning jobs, so you won’t have to worry about being short on power. When compared to your standard garden hose this pressure washer is about 35 times more powerful.
The water release rate is 1.3 GPM though, which isn’t the largest I have come across. However Karcher has some of the most effective wands out there, making them conservation-friendly as far as water consumption is concerned. Like all Karcher pressure washers, this one employs N-Cor pump technology which makes it capable of drawing water from just about anywhere.
Quick Connect System
Having a lot of power at your disposal is great, and all that portability is nice too, but they won’t do any good if the pressure washer is so complicated to operate you can’t even get it to start in the first place! Fortunately, this is hands-down one of the easiest pressure washers in that respect thanks to its Quick Connect System. Basically, it lets you hook up the wands and all the attachments to the main unit in a matter of seconds, so it will be up and running in no time at all.
Design and Portability
Considering the kind of power it packs, I expected this little beast to be a lot bigger, but fortunately I was wrong. Measuring in at just 21.7 x 12.8 x 12 inches it is actually quite compact.
Weighing just 16lbs it is also very lightweight making it easy to move around and put away once you are done with cleaning. Speaking of moving around, this model has a unique 4-wheel design which provides it with an unparalleled range of motion and portability.
You get some good flexibility with this pressure washer because there are two different wands to go with it. The Vario Power Spray comes in handy for light cleaning jobs while the DirtBlaster Spray wand is designed to provide as much power as possible.
When using this bad boy you can clean the most hardcore stains from solid surfaces such as brick, concrete and tarmac. This unit also comes equipped with a trigger Gun which has a Child Safety Lock, and the gun can be tucked away into the onboard storage.
I think this power tool manages to find common ground between power and portability. 1600 PSI is sufficient for all residential jobs, and when it comes to the aforementioned portability other models are simply no match for it. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the integrated detergent tank as well.
If you are looking for a powerful, yet portable pressure washer I would heartily recommend this one. If you want to find out more, Amazon had some great discounts on price the last time I looked.
