One of the Best Compact Pressure Washers For Many Cleaning Tasks
I mainly use a pressure washer to clean my barbeque grill, driveway, and stuff around my yard. Since there are hundreds of different pressure washers out there it can be difficult to decide which one is right, but I’ve found the best thing to do initially is think about how much power you need.
For those among you who often use power tools, the name will sound very familiar since Campbell Hausfeld is primarily known for making top-notch air compressors. I have one, and it has served me extremely well over the years, so I decided to see if their pressure washers were as good.
The PW1825 falls into the category of electric washers whose main advantage is they can be used indoors. This particular washer is built around a 14-amp universal motor which makes very little noise. Your neighbors won’t give you any trouble if you choose this unit.
As for power, it’s capable of delivering 1800 PSI of pressure and a flow rate of 1.5 GPM. These figures make it suitable for light work as described above. The unit is very light (weighing about 25lbs), and measures 13 x 31 x 11 inches. Do remember though, it is designed to be used with cold water. Other basic features include a hose, power cord, wand and a detergent tank. Instant stop and start features are also included.
This pressure washer can easily be categorized as lightweight, so you will have no trouble moving it from one location to another. The device is mounted on two transport wheels which boost its already excellent level of portability. As for operating the washer itself, everything is made easy with the presence of a large on/off dial at the front.
All electric pressure washers are somewhat limited since they need to be hooked up to a power outlet, so it doesn’t hurt if a unit has a long power cord, and this one certainly has that going in its favor because it features a 35-foot power cord.
If you’re worried about portability, set your mind at ease because this model comes with a 20-foot plastic hose. Keep in mind though that plastic is less resilient than rubber which means you have to take good care of the hose.
One of the features I like seeing on power washers is the instant start/stop feature. Luckily this particular unit has it. What this features does is cut power to the pump as soon as you let go of the trigger gun. This results in a longer pump life, less power consumption, and reduced noise.
As you would expect, the washer comes with an assortment of attachments. Apart from a spray gun which is standard, you also get two other spray wands. The first, a turbo lance is designed to provide an exceptionally powerful jet of pressurized water which is ideal for cleaning hard surfaces. The second, an adjustable fan lance allows you to adjust the water spray range.
Also, it comes with some onboard storage which allows you to neatly tuck away the hose, power cord and attachments. Oh, and the washer has a 1-liter detergent tank mounted at the rear which provides you with that extra bit of cleaning power when the situation calls for it.
I think this pressure washer is ideal for small cleaning tasks that are bound to pop up around your house or yard. One of its greatest strengths is portability which is mirrored in its long power cord, small weight and compact design.
The instant start/stop feature also adds to overall safety and efficiency of operation. I thoroughly recommend it! If you agree why not take a look at the excellent deals Amazon currently have on price.Further Information
